This blog is the result of a ‘much needed’ early in the morning walk :-).

I took pictures without paying much attention to angles or how it may get clicked. These were candid in their own way. This will be a ‘picture and caption’ blog, with each picture depicting their own small story.

A grey sky.. One or two rain drops. Chill climate and most suited for a hot bajji or bonda in the evening, assuming this weather stays..

This can happen only in India. We don’t have the heart to throw these pictures – ‘god fearing’ people :-).. and so we look at alternatives. What better than placing it against the wall adjoining a ground, on the footpath. God is everywhere!!

Oh well!! This canine was hell bent on sniffing near the car. The gentleman was holding the leash on one hand and a stick on the other. I was wondering whether he was going to give a light smack to make the move. But nah!! he sweetly and gently nudged the canine away from the car. The canine though was sure what he / she wanted to do!! Not to move 🙂

This was a beautiful canopy. Look up, and thru the branches you can see glimpses of the sky. So much green and so less grey..

This red tile looked rich. Just washed and sparkling clean. I thought that it must be rain that gave it a wash but later saw a man with a broom in hand. Inferred that he may have washed it. There was something so beautiful about this freshly washed tile.

Images in the picture are not as they appear in actual sight!! 🙂 In actuality, this log looked like a snake with its hood raised.. Oops!! I stopped in my tracks when I saw this.. Though now it looks like???

This looked grand from my angle.. When I asked the lady who was putting the Rangoli / Kolam if I could take a picture, she said “Amma, what is there in this? This isn’t looking good.” As the adage goes, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Perspectives!!

This temple has been in my ‘must visit’ list. The open space within the temple and the benches there invite me always. Though I have never been there. As I came near the temple, I just gravitated towards it.. Sat on the bench there, in a few minutes of silence but with a multitude of thoughts running in the mind. It took a while for these thoughts to subside. I left the temple, bowing in gratitude to the grace of Iswara.

I came home with a bit of huffing and puffing only to see Mr. D so comfortable, sleeping on the bed. We are almost three and yet a baby!! After a nice and invigorating ‘picture’ walk, this sight was certainly nice to come home to..
