Can you tell me whether it is a yes or no?

Oh well, why not a maybe?

The maybe is neither a yes nor a no; and could be both a yes and a no.

A yes could be a black or a white; and a no could be a white or a black

But gray? or grey? Even the spelling is uncertain.

So many shades of grey (the British spelling is closer to the Indian spelling and so this closen one for the blog)

Ash grey? Elephant grey? Slate grey? Light grey? Dark grey? Not elephant grey but lighter?

White or black is pure single colour; structured

Either a yes or a no

Certain, Clear, Known, Defined

Grey is a shade; unstructured

Neither a yes nor a no; or both

Uncertain, Unclear, Unknown, Not Defined

An attempt to understand the grey is to try and make it black or white

Should everything be necessarily understood?

Making things certain, clear, known, structured and defined

So true of the proverb – it is better to be safe than sorry.

or is it ok to say that it is ok not to understand?

Making things uncertain, unclear, unknown, unstructured and not defined.

So true of the phrase – The road less travelled.

The white or the black lends a security in the known

The grey gives an insecurity of the unknown

Nature has given the white and the black

and also the possibility of mixing them to give the grey.

If we can accept the yes and the no

why not the maybe?

If we can accept the white and the black

why not the grey?

Accepting the maybe and the grey, is accepting nature

Life then, is a dance with the universe!!
