This is a picturesque blog.. There is no order to the picture and no sequence either. If a couple of pictures seem interconnected, well it just happened 🙂

I love nature and more so, love watching the sky and the hues in it.. Being near a water body makes me go thoughtless at times and thought provoking at times.

Some captures of the sky and a water body,  in the recent few weeks, led to this blog.

It was a beautiful evening sky. The grey clouds look dark but what changes the entire perspective is the orange and pink hues lent by the sun, hiding behind the clouds. Such is life too – sometimes appears dark but the light around helps in seeing things differently. Life certainly appears rosy even in the seemingly dark times.

The sun that shines bright shines from every possible space that it has access to. That’s the power rendered to the sun – to shine bright, wherever and whenever. It doesn’t say, “Oh, why am I shining bright?” It just shines because it is meant to. That’s how each of us should – Shine bright because that’s what we are meant to.

The sun just radiates in shades of yellow, pink, red, orange and the myriad shades in between. Does it take on the blue shade to fit into the sky? Of course not. The sky remains the blue she is and the sun the colours he is. Each one comfortable in their own skin or rather colour. If we are one with nature, then we should also be comfortable in our skin, ain’t it? Each one of us beautiful and unique and comfortable in our own colours and shades and skin 🙂

The more I look at the sky, the more I am held in awe – the myriad shades of blue. At no place is any shade of blue similar to the shade in another place. The white clouds that dot the sky creates more shades. Such a huge expanse that seemingly blends in and out. Each of us present ourselves in so many shades, with different people and in different situations. The same us but different shades. We are certainly an amazing species!!!

Such a huge expanse of the sky can’t but lend its colour to the land too. Does it lend or is it an illusion that our eyes pick up? Whichever way, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder!!

Incredible blend of the five Panchabhutas or the five elements – Prithvi – Earth, Jala – Water, Agni – Fire, Vayu – Air and Akasha – Space. Each one merging into the other seamlessly. How do we make the five elements within us to merge seamlessly with one another? Food for thought..

Ah, the ripple effect. So beautiful on water but in life? Brings with it its own beauty and chaos..The Yin and the Yang.. Life is full of opposites, isn’t it? To live in balance between the two is the crux..

Each to its own – a tree with leaves or one without. Accepting each one as they are, is beauty. Nature presents trees, animals and us humans differently. If we can accept the trees and animals and include them as they are, why stop ourselves from doing it to ourselves and other fellow human beings?

Ahhh, what a beauty!!! The radiance and its reflection. If we can just keep looking at this picture endlessly, imagine being there at this place!! Incredible experience!! Some experiences and people leave us with such a lasting and memorable impact – radiating and reflecting!!

This came from a fortune cookie I had picked up in a Chinese restaurant. This chit reflected exactly what I believe in – – that each of us are beautiful as we are – we enjoy the person we are – feel blessed that we are what we are – if we think we need to change, we change because we see the need to – and that change is to be the best version of ourselves..
